The New Diamond Jim "Prospector"

We have been doing a lot of homework regarding diamond recovery and offer several systems that are quite portable, tough, and actually do a very good job on recovery. The Diamond Jim Prospector is designed to air freight and portage into difficult places and offers a complete package for mining in high grade areas or proving up areas for purposes of evaluation. We also offer larger units for high production if that is necessary.

Gemstone recovery: Gem recovery, sapphires, tanzanite, diamonds and other precious stones range in specific gravity of 3.5 to 4. The best progressive 1 gravity riffle boards at best do from very poor to fair on particles of that weight spectrum. We have built and sold in the past mechanical inline jig systems that did a spendid job on corundum or diamonds.These were constructed of core 10 steel with our "unique" full adjust drive system. Even though these machines recovered well, they were very heavy and required a large float platform and considerable support equipment. These were expensive to build and sell. As a result, we have developed a pulsing mono and duplex inline jig system that is much lighter weight and utilizes an independent pump, gear box, and rotorary valving system. These units will be easy to adjust and easy to clean-up. Maybe not quite as efficient as the large mechanical units, but very viable for portable diver-operated dredges.
